AZA will host Nowruz & Asho Zartosht’s birthday gathering on Sunday 29 March 2026.
This year, we gather together for our annual event with thoughtful hearts. We acknowledge the ongoing developments in Iran and the region and recognise that many within our AZA community have loved ones directly affected. During this time of uncertainty, we hold them in our thoughts and stand together in quiet solidarity and understanding.
Nowruz, meaning “new day,” marks the arrival of spring in the Northern Hemisphere. For generations, it has symbolised renewal, reflection, and hope. It reminds us of the importance of family, friendship, resilience, and community.
In this spirit, the gathering on Sunday 29 March 2026 offers us an opportunity to come together in unity, mutual support, and shared cultural tradition.
We respectfully invite you to join us as we honour our heritage and welcome the New Year with hope, dignity, and a spirit of togetherness.

The afternoon will include a traditional Haft-sin table display and a shared meal featuring familiar Persian dishes. Soft drinks and ice will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own alcoholic beverages.
